A sports light aircraft (also known as a three-axis or fixed wing Microlight) resembles a conventional light aeroplane in both looks and control systems. They are not as weather restricted as flexwing microlights and have a closed cockpit (and the luxury of a cabin heater!).

Sports Light Aircraft School

At Airways Airsports flying school we offer air experience flights or you can do a flexwing microlight course or fixed wing flying lessons on a sports light aircraft. A microlight is a small, light aircraft whose maximum take-off weight is under 450 kg.
