Airway Airsports is going to India, are you coming too?  This Club Pilot Plus adventure take place at the Himalayan flying site of Bir, the second highest recognised take off site in the world. If you are lower airtime then this is THE trip that will build your skills and decision making in a remarkably consistent and mellow environment. The weather patterns at this venue are extremely predictable and the flying hours soon mount up making for rapid pilot progression, and in gentle thermals too. We have chosen October specifically for lower airtime and newly qualified hill pilots because of the ease with which it can be flown and for the potential that it offers. Each day will start with a briefing for each individual pilot over breakfast on the balcony from where the launch can be seen in the majestic mountain backdrop and then it’s into the private minibus for the 45 minute drive to take-off. With a small group of only eight pilots you’ll be seen away by at least one team member who will remain on the ground until the last of the pilots is in the air. We know that not every pilot will hook a thermal every time and for those who land early there will be another chance to fly with the eagles in the afternoon. Evenings are spent on the balcony with de-briefs of the days flight with a projector and screen: there will also be topical chats with paragliding themes.  We’ve selected a small place to stay, a five minute walk from the landing site and have the whole place to ourselves;  as an added bonus the owner is a pilot and tandem flyer who will be in the skies with us most days.  There is an included overnight trip to the mountain where we will camp out and in the morning have a chance of a sunrise flight before breakfast. A truly epic adventure awaits.
